A little about me:
A wise man once said to me "if you're not a socialist at 18, then you don't have a heart, but if you're still a socialist at 28 then you don't have a brain". And so it is that from being a radical leftie in my teenage years I have matured into a devout supporter of libertarianism and the free market. I'm a believer in small government with low taxes giving people the option to spend whatever money they want on services they want. I also believe in personal accountability. I support politicians with a vision and those who see power as a means to an end and not an end in itself. I despise "Public Relations", "Focus Groups" and every form of media management which has turned politics into a glorified soundbite and beauty contest. I am a republican in its truest sense, and I support a united federal republic of the British Isles brining people with a shared history and culture together for the benefit of all. I am against multi-culturalism as I have no desire to live in a country with ethnic ghettos. I believe in "when in Rome, do as the Romans do" and this applies to Irish people going abroad as much as foreigners coming to Ireland.
